I just love this time of year. It's Fall! It isn't hot anymore and I just love the cool days. We have had such a fun month. Work has been crazy busy this month. The last half 2007 property taxes were due this month and today (Halloween) was the last day you could pay them without accruing any penalties. So, it was pretty busy. Earlier in the month we were able to watch Christopher & Jennifer's kids while they went to Leavenworth with Mom & Dad for a couple days.
We had so much fun with the kids! We got to help Jonas make a costume for his cut-out Clifford the Big-Red Dog. We made just about the coolest DarthVader costume EVER!
We just had such a fun time playing with the kids. They even went to our ward on Sunday.
...then we got sick. I feel like I have been sick forever. I am going on week three now of having a sore throat and I missed a week of work, but I have finally gotten some of my hearing back and my voice! I don't know what I would do if I couldn't talk!!! But I do feel better now than I did that first week. And now, it is HALLOWEEN!!! We are dog-sitting while my parents were trying to sell their house, so we decided to get TaiTai (the dog) a little costume. It was a tad too small, so we just put it on her, took some pictures, and then returned it.
I think she liked it, a lot! Then of course, to torture her some more, she had to do some tricks for our entertainment.
We also went with a friend of mine from Eureka/Arcata to a corn maze. It was the first one I have ever been too and although it was easier than I thought it would be, it was pretty fun.

We have had such a fun Halloween. When I got home from work, we carved some pumpkins that Christopher and so kindly given to us and had a Papa Murphy's pizza in the shape of a pumpkin! $4.99! We thought we could splurge a little for one night.
I don't want to toot my own horn, but WOW! I am H-O-T-T!
You can't see them, but I wore a "new" pair of jeans today that I got from Jen!
THANKS JEN!!!
Here I am about to carve my pumpkin!
Yummy!
Here's my sexy man, carving away
And here they are!
We have had about 7 or 8 groups of trick-or-treaters this evening. It's awesome! That is more than we have ever had come trick-or-treating to us since we've been married. Well, I hope you all enjoyed our pictures. It is getting late and I still need to exercise. We have been watching the Biggest Loser on t.v. and it has become my new favorite show. It gives me so much motivation to work out. And by the way for the couple special people in my life that only want the best for me and are only looking out for my Eternal Salvation... I went through all the shows I record in the week and deleted the ones that aren't probably the most appropriate shows to watch. There weren't that many, but yes, I deleted "Grey's Anatomy." And a couple other shows. We decided that we need to be focusing on what will help us not only grow closer to God, but to each other. We want to focus more on us than we do on the t.v. We are dealing with a lot right now, and we know that everything will work out. We have our struggles everyday and we worry about how we will make it, but Heavenly Father blesses us when we are doing what is right, and hopefully through all the little hills we will climb, the big mountains won't seem so hard.
